However, the Security Council soon turned rather sullen when a handful of delegates either put their heads on the table or formed expressions of monotony and tedium. Be that as it may, the Delegates of France and Russian Federation followed by the Delegate of China seemed to control the flow of debate as their perceptive speeches broadened the agenda only to receive recognition by the rest of the committee. The agenda set by the committee was about the “Human Rights Situation in Syria and Iraq”, and the debate around this touchy subject was invigorating and stimulating for the young yet developed minds of our delegates.
As the first session terminated, delegates unquestionably showed a higher level of comfort, momentousness and mindfulness.
