The delegate representing our prime minister soon took to the stage and stated a very valid point in regard to removing Section 377, specifying that even if the section is removed the mindset of the Indian Citizens shall not waver.
Soon, as the flow of the committee seemed to slow down, two clearly evident tiers could be seen. It was a clash between human rights versus the foundation of every Indian citizen, “their culture”. Equally as the intensity of the committee reached its pinnacle, a deceased member of the Communist Party graced us with his presence, being the first man to come back from the grave, showing his dedication to contribute to society yet being unable to control the flow of debate in regard to his opinion on LGBT rights and how they weren’t a problem when he was alive. Inter-Species “Mingling” and the upholding of individual rights were a few of the most discused points within the AIPPM. The formal session ended with the start of an informal session.
