Day 2 Session 2
The session commenced, the Director General addressed the committee in a crises, informing delegates about the new developments in West Africa. The delegates seemed perplexed, after learning about these new developments. The air of horror was getting thicker; thoughts of the African children affected by the Ebola vaccine (Gitenxin) ten months ago haunted the floor. Two thousand people were affected by paralysis of various parts of their body. The delegates, were asked by the Director General for any points of inquiry on the crisis. Soon after which the session moved into an unmoderated caucus allowing the delegates to discuss the crisis and provide solutions. The next moderated caucus began with the Delegate of the United States on the immediate action nations can take to help the children.
The atmosphere grew more and more enthusiastic as the session proceeded. The points put forward by the delegates showed how concerned they all were towards the ongoing crisis and how they wanted immediate measures to be taken to solve the same. As the session advanced, the delegates were greeted by the school Director, who seemed rather impressed by the level of participation of each delegate present.
The end of the Moderated caucus was followed by the continuation of the General Speaker’s List, after which the session came to an end. The second session was truly a passionate one which showed the humanity of each delegate toward the crisis!
