COMMUNISM IS ‘BEARBARIC’ [Archives]

Day 1 Session 3
PWSMUN 2015

The UN Security Council of 1962 had a lethargic feel post lunch, highlighting the scrumptious meal that had been devoured by one and all.
The committee, however, picked up pace and enthusiasm, and some delegates seemed to completely take over the flow of debate. The Delegate of Australia was fueled with energy as he actively explained that Communism might turn into the large bear that chases them, hence implying ‘Communism is Bearbaric’; the Rapporteur clutched her forehead and the President remarked that this was the most entertaining moderated caucus yet with “contradictory foreign policies, theatrics, outrageous analogy and charity”.
As the session proceeded towards its culmination, the committee headed towards discussing solutions to raise the level of debate on the second day of committee, and to reach a consensus between the member nations before adjourning for the day.
